The LCHS College & Career Fair was a tremendous success, providing students with valuable opportunities to explore their futures and connect with representatives from colleges, technical schools, local businesses, and industry leaders.
Throughout the event, students engaged in meaningful conversations, asked thoughtful questions, and gathered information about academic programs, career pathways, scholarships, internships, and employment opportunities. The fair allowed students to begin building professional connections while gaining insight into the skills, education, and training needed for various career fields. Experiences like this help students make informed decisions about life after high school — whether that path includes entering the workforce, attending a technical college, or pursuing a four-year degree.
The benefits extended beyond our students. Participating colleges and businesses had the opportunity to connect directly with motivated young individuals, share information about their programs and workforce needs, and promote career opportunities within our community. Events like the College & Career Fair help strengthen partnerships between education and industry, ensuring that students are better prepared to meet workforce demands.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the colleges, technical schools, military representatives, and local businesses who took time out of their busy schedules to invest in our students’ futures. Your participation plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of professionals and leaders.
LCHS is proud to provide opportunities that bridge the gap between education and career readiness, and we look forward to continuing to build strong partnerships that benefit both our students and our community.
